Ion Mask	The unique hydrophobic technology was developed by Durham University in the UK. ION-MASK technology creates unique protection against moisture and dirt for materials with different types of surfaces (resistance to moisture of 100,000 mm / cm 2). According to the technology, the product is placed in a vacuum chamber and chemically treated with plasma, which penetrates the product, creating a microscopic layer of material. At the same time, the material does not turn into rubber or film, i.e. 100% breathes and retains its other properties. It is considered a revolutionary technology, as it surpasses other hydrophobic technologies and tex materials in its capabilities. Unlike membrane-type materials, Ion-Mask is durable and internal to the material, i.e. it cannot be punctured or damaged in any other way. While other waterproof materials are generally heavy, Ion-Mask maintains the lightness of the material used to make the shoe. In addition to water, it also repels dirt, both externally and internally, and is antibacterial.
