The rStar flashlight was designed to be mounted on various helmet rail systems, but is also universally mountable to all devices using the included Molle clip and Velcro. The rStar offers a white beacon light for long-distance reconnaissance or a lower light output for short-distance driving. IR light has a wavelength of 940 nm and can therefore be detected by most night vision devices. A special feature of the rStar is that it has an IFF light, which allows for identification of friend/foe. The lamp is easy to handle due to its lightweight and compact design. With the flexible “gooseneck” you can direct the light where you need it, regardless of the angle of the helmet.
